I’m not sure what it is about this album, and this song in particular, but I love it.  At once, both classic and modern, both dark and light, both melancholy and transcendent.  North By North brings back memories of the best of the 80’s for me, with an incredible tension between beauty and tragedy.  Pump your fist, sing along, shed a tear.  It’s all relevant.
