There’s something special about extreme metal hailing from South America. It burns with its own unique dark filth. Chaos Perversion continues this malignant tradition on Petrified Against The Emanation. A swirling inferno of cyclonic riffs flows unrelentingly around the listener, hastened on by unabated obliteration from the rhythm section. Barks and howls form the basis for vocals that are barely recognizable as human at times. The sinister stench of days old destruction hovers in the atmosphere of the six tracks (including an intro and an outro).
Active since at least 2019, the Chilean duo first released Petrified Against The Emanation locally in that year, under the moniker Entangled By The Roots Of Death. Featuring a new master, new layout, and new artwork, the EP now sees a glorious 10” vinyl release through Sentient Ruin, ever the source of the most brilliantly vile music. Flauros U. is responsible for all instruments, grit, and nastiness, while Daniel Hermosilla handles vocals, bile, and disdain. Together they weave a spell of the most vicious evil.

Biography: Hayduke X has been writing for MoshPitNation since June of 2016. He is also a contributor to The Metal Wanderlust. Prior to joining the MoshPitNation team, Hayduke published reviews on his own blog Rage and Frustration. In addition, he has DJ’ed an online metal radio show of the same name as his blog, written for TOmetal.com, done interviews for Metal Rules, and collaborated with The Art of B Productions to create video interviews with a wide variety of bands.
