Having formed the band in their pre-teens, Fight the Fight have been playing together for more than a decade. This certainly explains their ferocity and energy combined with their professionalism when it comes to their musical choices. The melodic sensibility is perfect. Actually, beyond perfect. The music has the ability to be brutal, melody driven, and obscene all in the same song, as the title song reflects. This is as much not prog at it is not not prog. It truly boggles the mind.
This album shows that despite their age, they are true statesman of the rock formula. Years spent playing festivals and anywhere they could get booked definitely shows as they make more mature choices than new bands twice their age. As their music lends itself to moshing just as equally as to dancing, the pit at their show would truly be the best circle pit to ever exist. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for these young men as, if they can keep it together, they are on the brink of world dominance.
Recommendation – Buy it. Buy it. Buy it. Then play it for someone
