According to pretty much every metal website, Facebook and Twitter, I’d say pissed off is an understatement. Even Trent Reznor Tweeted “Music’s biggest night… to be disrespected. A heartfelt FUCK YOU guys.” in response to his set with Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and Lindsey Buckingham being obscured by promotional nonsense and credits.
So is The Academy snubbing metal? Considering the most exciting thing people could talk about last night was Pharrell’s hat and Daft Punk… I can sleep at night knowing I give no fucks what The Academy thinks. m/
