This album is excellent – dreamy-in-an-unsettling-way and hypnotic – so it doesn’t matter what genre we call it, nor does it matter that it’s entirely instrumental.
The intensity of Zos Ethos cannot be understated. … Let it be the deep experience it’s meant to be.
There needs to be moments of peace and quiet, sort of reflection, to really make the chaotic bits chaotic.
Under An Eternal Mirage Projected In The Sky is the best thing I’ve heard from this project. That, of course, is my subjective taste, but this release hits me hard with each listen. I love it.
The resulting atmosphere is one of fury and loss, ringing swords and weeping widows.
If the first two tracks don’t spark your interest and you don’t willingly give in to the curiosity that will surely kill the cat, then I don’t what to tell you.
These eight tracks will get directly into your veins, addicting you to the malevolence writhing throughout.
