Omnivore becomes something of controlled chaos then, where anything can happen, but only within the cage built for the beast.
The album is certainly a cohesive whole with an epic feel. There are dark moments, triumphant moments, emotional moments.
While I don’t think Parasites fully captures everything they were live, it is a solid album with some exceptional moments. (SEE THEM LIVE!!!!)
Thick and melodic, this EP is a treat.
Erie, dark, and foreboding emotions run throughout.
In short, The Essence of Time Matches No Flesh absolutely rips, but often in surprising ways.
I think its also fair to predict, though, that I will continue to pull this album out when a certain mood hits me. It is undeniably intelligent and well done and deserves recognition as such.
