Listening to Ljubiš li i dalje istinski? is not pleasant, but it feels so very necessary. The emotions are palpable. My arm hair stands on end. I feel like weeping. I feel like destroying. I feel like walking into the woods and never coming out.
I feel unsettled, nervous, even insignificant as I listen, but the effect is more ominous than threatening.
What a year it’s been! There is no way a top 50 album is enough to truly express the fantastic year of music that was 2018. Nevertheless, check it out, comment, agree, argue, enjoy!
I hereby dub their music Dissonant DJ Shadow with a Side of Angst, or perhaps House Scene Obliteration. Maybe we can just call it The Body, since the genre only has the one project in it that can rightfully lay claim anyway.
However jarring, Cutting Pieces is a great example of how artful noise metal can be.
