It is without hyperbole that I say this was one of the most fun shows I’ve ever attended.
I hear a resurgence of the past with a spiked fist clenched on the future.
These songs are catchy, brutal, and groovy all at the same time.
The album has incredible staying power, both in terms of earworm riffs that stay with me throughout the day, and the urge to listen repeatedly, even back to back.
I dead set thought I had accidently swtiched to a Voivod album. Now if that isn’t one of the finest compliments you can ever give a band, you may all kiss my lilly white arse.
Drawing heavily from old school, more thrash influenced death metal, they reject the caveman riff revival in favor of something more sinister.
This album is a much needed throat punch to the decadence and oppression of modern society. Plus, it absolutely rips!
